Today is Black Girl Day Off! October 11th
A day created by Tomeka Casanova and dedicated to celebrating and prioritizing the mental health of Black women. Following World Mental Health Day, this day reminds us to take a moment to rest, reflect, and rejuvenate.
Stress, compounded by daily pressures, can take a toll on our health. But taking time for ourselves is an act of resilience and self-care. Let’s honor this day by prioritizing our well-being.

-Recognizing the importance of mental health, especially for Black women
-Addressing the impact of stress on chronic illnesses like breast cancer and heart disease
